The brain of your local system — an EMS controller with metering and edge computing. It measures at the grid connection and decides on site where every watt goes.
ControlEnergyPilot
An EMS controller with metering and edge computing. EnergyPilot measures what your home uses and produces at the grid connection and decides on the device itself where every watt goes — battery, EV or grid.

For single-phase homes and balcony or plug-in systems.

For three-phase homes. Can also work as three single-phase measuring points.
EnergyPilot is an edge controller: it measures, decides and acts on the device itself. The cloud is for monitoring, history and remote settings, not for control.
Export limits, surplus routing and load balancing are worked out on the controller, inside the home network.
No round trip to a remote server, so control follows the home as loads switch on and off.
If the internet drops, control carries on. VIP Cloud catches up on history when the connection returns.
Monitoring, history and remote settings come from VIP Cloud; the energy decisions do not depend on it.
Keeps feed-in at zero or a set limit, as your grid connection requires.
Sends surplus solar to PowerCube, SolarHub or ChargeFlow before the grid.
Home consumption, grid import and export, and how much of your own solar you used — in VIP Cloud.
Dynamic load balancing for ChargeFlow keeps the home under the limit.
Monitors the output of an existing inverter of any brand with the spare CTs of the VDG-EM-3 (monitoring only, no control).
One VDG-EM-3 can measure three separate single-phase circuits.
Installed in the distribution board by a qualified electrician, with the CTs supplied.

Snap onto the 35 mm DIN rail in the distribution board.
Wire the grid terminal: L and N, or LA, LB, LC and N.
On the grid-side conductor — no need to cut the main cable.
Add the device in the VIP Cloud app over Wi-Fi.
Installation by a qualified electrician. CTs are included.

A single plug-in unit up to 800 W (such as SolarCore VM800WE-P2 or SolarKit) and PowerCube VA800D may be connected by the owner where local rules allow; where national rules permit higher plug-in limits, SolarCore P4 can also be connected by plug. Other SolarCore systems on an AC trunk cable, PowerCube VA2000D and above, VB5000D packs, SolarHub, ChargeFlow and EnergyPilot are installed by a qualified electrician.
