Highlights

Fewer units per roof.

  • Four MPPTs per unit

Up to 2,250 W per unit, MPPT efficiency up to 99.8%.

  • Wi-Fi pairing in about 10 seconds*

Added in the VIP Cloud app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

    * With good signal, a working network and a normal device connection.

  • Built for rooftops

Rooftop and garden arrays, with fewer AC connections per kW.

  • −40 to 65 °C

IP67 metal housing, fanless, galvanically isolated.

Keep module Voc below 60 V at the lowest expected site temperature — Voc rises in the cold.

How it grows

Four modules per unit. Built up unit by unit.

SolarCore P4 is made for rooftop and garden arrays, usually on an AC trunk cable installed by a qualified electrician. In countries with higher plug-in limits it can also connect by plug.

  1. Four modules on one microinverter.

One SolarCore P4 takes four modules, each on its own MPPT. Its AC cable joins the trunk cable through a T-connector and runs via an AC box to the distribution board.

Illustration simplified. Systems on an AC trunk cable are installed by a qualified electrician.

Network set-up

Paired in about 10 seconds*.

Power the microinverter, open the VIP Cloud app and add it over Wi-Fi. It joins the home network directly — no gateway, no separate data logger — and starts reporting live data in about 10 seconds*.

  • Direct 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, no extra hardware
  • Guided pairing in the VIP Cloud app
  • Live output and yield history from the first minute

* With good signal, a working network and a normal device connection.

Paired in about 10 seconds*.

  1. Keep module Voc below 60 V at the lowest expected site temperature — Voc rises in the cold.
  2. SolarCore P4 must be installed by a qualified electrician. Units per branch depend on the AC cable cross-section.
  3. Values measured in the VaySunic laboratory under specific test conditions; they are typical values, not warranted values.

A single plug-in unit up to 800 W (such as SolarCore VM800WE-P2 or SolarKit) and PowerCube VA800D may be connected by the owner where local rules allow; where national rules permit higher plug-in limits, SolarCore P4 can also be connected by plug. Other SolarCore systems on an AC trunk cable, PowerCube VA2000D and above, VB5000D packs, SolarHub, ChargeFlow and EnergyPilot are installed by a qualified electrician.
